Women's Voices from Porto Alegre

Greetings from Porto Alegre, Brazil. This series of e-notes is being created by a broad coalition of women and women's organizations from around the world who are attending the Third World Social Forum. Our goal is to give greater coverage to discussions, debates and presentations at the WSF that present women's concerns and perspectives. Many of you have kindly offered to post these notes to your own e-lists or websites. Others are individuals receiving this information. Please feel free to circulate widely. We present a contents, a brief summary of an article, which could be used on a website with a link, and in some cases, a longer text that you could link to if you choose. Feel free to use any or all of these contributions. We would be happy to get copies of your articles, or weblinks with posts, at info@wicej.org. The e-news is edited by a team from the Women's International Coalition for Economic Justice (WICEJ), including Zac-Nicte Reyes (Mexico), Karina Garcia (Mexico), Martha Salazar (Denmark) and Carol Barton (US).
